Day 1: Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom to Siem Reape
We will get an early start and drive to Skun Village, where we can take a short break and see interesting snacks for sale, including spiders, crickets and different fruits. The daring can try some new snacks! We will drive on to Kampong Thom to see Sambo Prey Kok Temple, named in 2017 as a UNESCO heritage site. It was built in the 6th to 9th centuries in the Chenla Kingdom. After exploring the 3 groups of temples, we will make our way to Siem Reap. If there is time along the way, we can visit a floating village and see how people live on boats on the Tonle Sap. We will arrive in Siem Reap in the evening.

Day 2: Medium Circle Tour of Temples
We recommend getting a certified guide so that you can get the best experience by learning more about the temples. For the “medium circle tour” we will see Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preh Khan. This schedule is flexible and we can discuss which temples you would like to see on the route.
In the evening, we recommend seeing the performance of Phare, the Cambodian Circus (performing stories, dance, and amazing acts).

Day 3: Small Circle Tour of Templess
We will start our day early by watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat. We will tour the main temple of Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Keo and the famous Ta Prohm (held together by tree roots stretching across the temple).

Day 4: Further Temples outside Siem Reap
First we will go to Mount Kulen, where there are waterfalls and temples. There is an extra fee of $20 per person for this temple and we need to be there before 11 am because there is a one-way road up that becomes crowded later. After that, we will continue on to a hike to Kbal Spean, which is a small stream with linga carved into the riverbed, along with other carvings in the river rock. We will have lunch in the forest near the river. We will visit Banteay Srei, the famous pink temple.

Day 5: Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn

We can leave at a flexible time and make our way back to Phnom Penh, stopping for lunch along the way, for a drive of approximately 5-6 hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS
1 / To be informed, tourists (men or women) must wear appropriate clothing to visit all the temples in Angkor Park. Make sure your clothes can cover your shoulders and knees. The scarf is acceptable for some temples (except Angkor vat).
2 / We recommend wearing light cotton clothing as it is hot and humid from March to June.
3 / Take a camera or phone charger with you. You can charge your camera or mobile phone in a restaurant during your lunch.
4 / US dollars are accepted everywhere in Cambodia and you can even withdraw your money at an ATM. It could be in US dollars or local currency (Riel), so you do not need to change from US dollars to local currency.
